It can absorb crude oil, provides a controllable specific surface area, and disperses well in organic systems. These features make it ideal for enhancing safety, capacity, and discharge performance in silica battery technology, while also extending battery life.
It is used as an additive in the separator of battery systems. In lead-acid applications, this battery separator material improves ion exchange between electrodes and supports efficient function in the battery separator manufacturing process.
