JSJ Named Candidate for National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise
The China National Intellectual Property Administration recently released the list of candidates for National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprises, and JSJ (Zhaoqing) Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. was proudly included.
This designation is among the highest honors in enterprise IP management in China. It recognizes industry leaders that excel in IP strategy, system development, commercialization of innovations, and risk management, delivering strong demonstration effects across the sector.
This milestone reflects JSJ’s elevated capabilities in technological innovation and IP system building, underscoring our core technical strength and ongoing innovation momentum in the silicon materials field.
JSJ Passes Dynamic Review and Retains National Green Factory Status
Between February 5–19, 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Department publicized the 2025 list of newly certified green factories and industrial parks, along with dynamic adjustments to existing certifications.
To maintain and elevate green performance standards, provincial authorities required certified entities to conduct self-assessments against updated criteria. Facilities consistently ranked in the bottom 5% nationally for three years are removed from the list.
Having been awarded National Green Factory status in 2024, JSJ (Zhaoqing) Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. successfully passed the 2026 dynamic review and remains on the prestigious National Green Factory list.
JSJ Successfully Re-certified as a National High-Tech Enterprise
JSJ (Zhaoqing) Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. has completed its re-certification as a National High-Tech Enterprise.
This nationally supported designation is granted under rigorous criteria, emphasizing independent core IP, sustained R&D investment, and effective transformation of research outcomes. It serves as a key benchmark for technological innovation capability and core competitiveness.
The latest requirements include at least one full year of registration, valid domestic core IP (with greater emphasis on invention patents), technologies aligned with national priority fields, R&D personnel ≥10% of total staff, domestic R&D expenditure ≥60% of total and meeting tiered revenue thresholds, high-tech products/services revenue ≥60%, innovation capability score ≥70, and no major safety, quality, or serious environmental violations in the past year.
This re-certification affirms JSJ’s overall strength and creates broader opportunities for future growth. We will leverage this achievement to deepen R&D, drive key technological breakthroughs, empower high-quality development across downstream industries, support the upgrading of China’s silicon materials sector, and fulfill our role as a responsible national enterprise.
High-Tech Zone & Zhaoqing CCPIT Leaders Visit JSJ for In-depth Discussions
On February 4, a delegation led by Tang Ying (Party Secretary and President of Zhaoqing Council for the Promotion of International Trade) and Zhu Xuehong (Level-3 Investigator, Zhaoqing High-Tech Zone) visited JSJ to discuss foreign trade expansion, international logistics collaboration, and related topics. Zhuo Weisi, Deputy Director of the High-Tech Zone Economic Development Bureau, accompanied the group.
Participants included senior representatives from Zhaoqing International Chamber of Commerce, COSCO Shipping Logistics (Shenzhen), China Construction Fourth Engineering Division (Malaysia Branch), and other enterprises.
The roundtable featured candid exchanges on global trade trends, cross-border logistics strategies, and overseas project delivery models. Several agreements were reached on deepening government–enterprise coordination and expanding international market cooperation.
Safety First – JSJ Reinforces Its Safety Culture and Production Defenses
Safety remains JSJ’s top priority. We continue to strengthen safety systems and practices to protect stable operations and, most importantly, the well-being of every employee.
Before Chinese New Year, we conducted thorough pre-holiday safety inspections in line with local emergency management requirements, identified and addressed potential risks, and reinforced safety awareness across the workforce to ensure a safe plant environment and peaceful holiday for all.
In February, JSJ also held “Safety Culture Training” sessions simultaneously at Plant 1 and the Guangzhou office. These professional programs further embedded safety awareness and values throughout the organization.
Chinese New Year Day 8 – Back to Work with Blessings & Lion Dance
On the eighth day of the first lunar month, JSJ employees returned to work on schedule, officially launching full production and operations for 2026.
To welcome everyone back, the company distributed traditional opening red envelopes filled with warm Chinese New Year wishes. These small gestures of care strengthened team unity and energized employees to quickly shift into high gear for the year ahead.
At the Guangzhou office, a lively lion dance “picking the greens” performance brought joy and auspicious energy, symbolizing good fortune, prosperity, and a thriving year to come.
With this strong restart, the entire JSJ team is united, focused, and ready to advance steadily in functional silica manufacturing — determined to meet all annual goals and drive sustainable, high-quality growth.
